I would not recommend going thru coastal loans, they will tell you everything is on track and wait until the week of closing to tell you that you need to come up with more money than was agreed upon if you would like to be approved. They ask for the same documents 3 or 4 times, they ran my credit 3 separate occasions , they don’t update you on any news , you have to call and they don’t answer when you call. It was an overall horrible first time home buying experience. We also had a low rate and they did not want to lock in the rate and they waited 6 months to lock in a rate and the rate doubled so our closing costs went up ! Their underwriter also had our loan for over a month with no approval or denial.

I absolutely loved working with Tarek for my first home. He was always very communicative and ensured I would be taken care of. He always had an answer to my questions and would walk me through every stage. I would glad work with Tarek again as well as the rest of the team. I truly cannot thank them enough!
