This was the worst experience buying a home. This is our 3rd home we have purchased. Communication was terrible. Documents that were sent were repeatedly asked for again. We were pre qualified from another mortgage and had to start completely over with rmc. We were not told until we figured it out that they added 4,000$ without telling us to lower our interest rate. On the day before closing at 430pm we were told we were approved. The day of closing we were not told what amount was due for closing until 222pm and closing was at 3pm. Very stressful.

This whole experience was an absolute nightmare and it almost felt like a big giant joke. RMC lost all my paperwork, they wouldn’t provide me different loan options when I asked because “it wouldn’t make a big difference.” As Lynn and her team continued on with this mess, I just felt like the communication got progressively worse. I’m a first time home buyer. Lynn knew how awful Maronda treated me and my family yet, when I asked questions and she wouldn’t let me talk, which then resulted me saying a swear word (which wasn’t even directed to Lynn), she then said if I were her son, she would physically assault me. Lynn also provided me with the wrong numbers, which I only found out after I finished all the paperwork.

RMC as a whole does a very poor job at communicating with their clients and has very inconsistent and unreliable information. My loan officer, overall, was nice. She was AWFUL at being available and i could hardly ever get in contact with her and she did not follow up most times. But she was always nice and polite. However, when purchasing a home and figuring out how you are financing the home, communication plays a major role and that is especially hard to do when you can not ask questions or talk about your options with your own loan officer. Its even more terrible when your loan officer decides not to be available to you during your week of closing. So i am passed around from person to person with no one with any knowledgeable information of my file to be able to even help me in the slightest. And any time i requested something outside of my loan officer or asked for confirmation or questions in writing, they were all ignored or dismissed. I am truly not a fan of how RMC conducts their business.

Thank you very much Lynn, You did a fantastic job, Ann-Marie and I really do appreciate your efforts in some vexing circumstances. Doubtless, that you have to handle the financing of two homes to the same person in a six-week period of time.
