First off, I want to Jonathan was great after our first conversation. He handled my situation very well for being as upset as I was. From our second conversation on he was right on time, very helpful and did absolutely everything he could to help me out.
Now, as far as RMC as a company goes, I would never use them again. When we started our process in November I was given an interest rate around 3% which was the going rate at the time. I had asked, not Jonathan, but another employees very specifically if I could lock the rate at this point. I was told no, and this employee told me a couple of lock ranges. The next time I spoke with them I was informed that I could have locked for nearly a year. This mistake on their part cost me nearly 2 more percent in interest. RMC did very little for me in terms of correcting this mistake. I would not recommend them as a company, but I would 100% recommend Jonathan. It seemed he did everything he could to help me out including calling me nearly daily for a while to give me the daily rates and his input. Thanks to Jonathan I did end up saving myself some money by locking at the best time I could after rates started rising.

I worked with Nichol throughout the process. She is amazing. So down to earth and knowledgeable and always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. She even caught a mistake on my credit that another lender didn’t that increased my pre approval rate. She walked me through step by step and we made our closing date also which these days is impossible. I was very impressed by the entire staff and would highly recommend them.

I applied for the new build loan back in August and the home was to close in May. No one talked to me about locking in my rate once they knew my home was ready to close, then a couple days before I was to close they were asking for things such as my salary confirmation, tax returns, etc. I had all of this information packed in a POD. If they could have asked for this information even 10 days before closing it would have been easy to obtain but they ran me around like a crazy woman getting the information WHEN NOTHING IN MY LIFE CHANGED SINCE I APPLIED FOR THE LOAN ORIGINALLY IN AUGUST. They could have asked those questions and asked for clarification a lot sooner than THE DAY OF CLOSING. This was not a last minute purchase, they had plenty of time to take care of the loan process in due time professionally but alas, I was the one scrambling

It was a terrible process. Poor communication. Jon never got back to me. Asked for the same documents 3-4 times. No communication between loan officer to loan coordinator to underwriter. The craziest this is they failed to fund the closing while I was at the closing… The supervisor said he would call me to discuss the issues and he never followed through.

Difficult to get a hold of. Never returned calls or emails. Gave inaccurate advice regarding interest rates, told us it’s not a big deal to spend a few extra hundred dollars, and had to submit a ridiculous amount of extra paperwork the week of closing in order to close on time after being told be we did all we needed to.

Everyone was great that I worked with. However John was super. Always answered the phone when I called and had the answers.

they have a super convenient portal for secure document upload. they were easy to work with from the get go.

Jon and team were able to help me complete the mortgage process on my new home. They were incredibly responsive and when i had a question they gave great comprehensive answers. The process they follow was very clear, the website they use to collect information was easy to use. I was surprised about the amount of information that was required from the underwriter but i understand why that is necessary. Jon's team was able to answer any questions i had on those requests. Overall it was a great experience for me.
