Poor communication. After the first initial wonderful phone calls and emails with Daniel Hartwell, I was handed over to his assistant Jamie Sasse. That's where the communication took a bad turn. Working from home with several distractions, often putting you on hold without telling you, distracted by husband and children, talking above you, not returning emails or questions. I purchased a rate lock which cost me several thousand dollars. I was told she would check on this for a lower rate to make a change at least one time. I never received any follow up or guarantee this was ever done. I also asked Jaime to run some numbers for me which I wanted to see in writing. When I asked her about this on the phone she told me it was too late and that we had gone over these "details" by phone. Super disappointed!

After burying myself in credit card debt over the past few years, I decided to refinance my home and put some of the equity to work for me. A friend suggested that I contact Daniel at FBC Mortgage, and I must say that I was not disappointed. Daniel and his team took my initial information and ran with it behind the scenes most of the time. The electronic signing process was intuitive and performed flawlessly, including selecting a signature that closely resembled my own. I was kept informed as to the status of my loan with regular updates and a weekly update on the world of finance with brief, yet informative, FBC newscasts. All of the agents involved in the loan process were orchestrated by Daniel and his team including the dispatch of a Notary to my home at a time convenient to me. I could not have asked for a more efficient process or team.
