The process had major complication relative to the builder completion of our home. No fault to Jet Home Loans. However, Dabney's diligence, patience, professionalism and I would venture to say friendship - since he genuinely cares. There were obviously points of frustration that Dabney helped to ease during the process. No matter the issue of the day, his calm nature always shown through which impacts all involved. I truly appreciate all his hard work and the work of his team, in particular Jacqueline, his loan processor.

I came to JetHomeLoans through DreamFinders because they offered a lump sum incentive towards closing costs for going with their preferred lender. Our purchase was new construction, so we had to get qualified initially and then two years later. From the start, we worked with Dabney, and he was a good communicator throughout the entire process. Always quick to answer emails and phone calls, which is something I appreciate. I have been through a few closings, and none of them have been perfect. So many variables are at play; something always happens at what feels like the last moment. Whether it's a big or small hurdle, the loan officer's job is to help you overcome it, and Dabney and his team certainly did that. He does his best to keep up with the countless files he probably has, and although little things did happen, we always managed to get through them and close on the property. JetHomeLoans asked for a lot more paperwork than other lenders in the past, but I assume that has something to do with the organization and not the Loan Officer. My one suggestion to improve the customer experience is to have an interactive dashboard showing consumers the loan breakdown. A calculator, a spreadsheet, or some tool that allows borrowers to see loan costs, loan amount, downpayment, interest rate, expected monthly payment, etc; so they can go in and make interactive changes and see how it flows down to the monthly payment. For example, I wish I had more visibility without having to go back and ask, "If I give XXX amount down, how will my payment change?" I have worked with other lenders using tools like this, and it's worth it. Thanks for your help, Dabney!

It was a pleasure working with Dabney and Jet Home Loans. Our new construction build had several delays and Dabney was amazing with his communication throughout the journey. We liked using their Documents Portal as well because of the notifications that came with it. Overall, we would love to do business with Jet again.

Jet Loans contacted us 1 hour before closing with news they would not accept monies wired from our relocation company. Jet loans had been aware of the relocation company and its procedures for 8 months prior to closing. Because the error was the fault of Jet Loans we suggested changing the closing date to the Tuesday after the New Year. Representative Dabney Martin informed us if we refused to wire the money ourselves on that day the builder would keep our down payment and we would lose it. After contacting the builder about this statement Martin made we were told that was an untrue statement. We wired the money on the original closing date and went to our appointment. As the title company commenced with the closing it was brought to our attention that Jet Loans 1) claimed they emailed us an important message after midnight the previous night of which neither one of us received and 2) Jet loans failed to send the correct closing package to the title company. This is our 5th home purchase over the past 33 years and definitely the most stressful, unprofessional and ill prepared. It is also the first time we have ever dealt with a loan officer who has threatened and lied to close the loan.

Dabney was professional through some of my petulant outbursts. I was in a situation I didn’t want to be in and Dabney kept the process moving forward in a matter of fact and logical way. I would recommend working with him.

Dabney and his team did a wonderful job throughout my loan process. This was a new build that took 2 years to close. From the application process, to the closing, I was thoroughly impressed by Dabney's professionalism, expertise, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Given numerous delays by the builder, and a complex loan application at my end, he worked through the entire process with great detail and patience. I came to trust Dabney for advice related to the mortgage in an increasing rate environment. He took very good care of my file. The processor, Connie Reeves, was very detailed, professional and friendly to work with.

Dabney was great communicating, keeping us informed and updated every step of the way. He was able to answer our questions no matter if they sounded silly. He was available to communication all times of the day. He really helped us stay on top of things. Thank you very much.
