RMC has so many deceptive business practices and turnover in staff that you are better off dealing with a local lender and forgoing their "incentives" for being a preferred lender. For instance, the loan officer changed four times during the home buying process and caused the file to be out of compliance on numerous occasions. Also there was a time when nobody would call back for over two months to remedy documentation deficiencies. Finally, when it came time to lock in an interest rate, RMC offered rates that were 2% higher then the competition but offered an opportunity to buy down the rate to what everyone else was offering (and even giving lender credits for). At the end, all of the lender credits went to hiying down the rate and other fees that were exorbitent and it was no savings to use RMC, but the home builder would not consider allowing buyers who needed financing to use other lenders (through their strong-arm tactics). Overall, the experience was more stressful and unpleasant than it had to be. The loan officer did not call back with information when she said she would on 75% of occasions. Do not recommend!!!
