It is hard to describe how much I enjoy my career as a full-time firefighter/paramedic. I love coming to work each day – and feel so lucky to be blessed with this opportunity. Thankfully, there are very few fires these days…so most of the 911 calls we respond to are medical in nature. We are given the chance to help people on, what might be, the worst day of their life. I love shopping at the local grocery store and having people walk up and tell us about the time we helped them. How rewarding! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dayton in 1999, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. It was a very difficult major, but helped me learn how to think logically and critically – tools that are truly priceless. I love to swim, bike, and run – and while in college, vowed to someday do an Ironman Triathlon. In 2004, Degree Deodorant sponsored a contest called “The Degree Everyman Ironman,” in which they were looking for an average guy who they could train for this behemoth race. I won. I moved out to San Diego and trained with the pros for 3.5 months…then completed my first Ironman on Oct 16 of that year. It was incredible experience, and it kick-started my love of endurance sports. I’ve since competed in several other Ironman races, and even did a one hundred mile running race in Kettle Moraine State Park in WI. It sounds crazy to some – but I love to push myself to the limits. All of these life experiences have made me what I am today. Now I have found the perfect second job to compliment my career as a firefighter. I get to help people save money and help guide people through the sometimes complex world of home loans. My philosophy: give the BEST rate from the start. My goal: make you completely comfortable with all the numbers involved in your loan. When you work with me you get: • Integrity and Honesty of a Firefighter (my other full-time job) • Thoroughness and Precision of an Engineer (my college education) • Drive of an Ironman Triathlete (my hobby)

This was the smoothest mortgage loan process I have ever been through. My situation wasn't the easiest but they made it all work out and stayed in communication with me throughout the whole process. Lowered my interest rate and payment I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a mortgage loan.

The FHA loan has some very tough, rigorous standards to achieve, that are meticulously upheld by the Underwriters. Both Colin and Andrea worked around the clock to get the required paperwork and documents to the Underwriters. Even when we were asked for more and more documentation--and we hit a couple of snags that caused some delays, Colin and Andrea kept their eyes on the goal, and calmly and methodically, they encouraged us to continue in the process until all the requirements were met. And, at the end of it all, the loan was finally approved--at a very competitive interest rate.
