There were delays at the end of the process. Explanations were and remain vague (not that it matters at this point). First scheduled for 5/24, then 5/25, then 5/29, at which point I had to do all of the follow-up as to the time of actual closing. I called around 11 am to confirm 1pm closing was still on, and was told to call back at 12. REALLY?? Very unprofessional, disorganized, and confused.

My experience with FBC was pretty typical. I have not moved in 25 years but I have refinanced three or four times during that period. The people were all friendly and professional. They always needed their information or additional documentation in a big hurry, which I complied with every single time, but when I needed key pieces of information like say - the final dollar amount needed at closing, nobody seemed to be in a hurry to get that to me. Many of my questions went unanswered or I had to ask more than once, while I always responded quickly and completely to everything that was asked of me. That was pretty much how my other experiences went so I'd say FBC falls right in line.

They handled everything a professional way.

Everyone in this company worked very hard for us. We had a tricky time with builder issues and they were on it at every curve. Appreciated all of the hard work they provided all the way to the closing table. Calls were always returned quickly with all questions answered.
