Should you ever be matched with Jordan, I urge you to immediately contact the company and ask for a different loan officer—or consider getting a loan from a bank instead, regardless of how enticing the lender credits appear. In the long run, this will spare you unnecessary stress and financial loss.
Jordan is difficult to reach by phone, often citing meetings as the reason for his unavailability. His main method of communication is email, and you’ll only get a prompt response if you escalate your concerns. Over the course of four months, we managed just three conversations—all of which happened because I persistently reached out to lock in our rates.
Having worked with numerous loan officers over the past decade for both financing and refinancing, I found this experience truly eye-opening. Jordan stands out as the most challenging loan officer I’ve ever worked with, causing us considerable frustration and heart ache throughout the process. Due to his delays, our interest rate increased from 5.5% to 6.49% for a 30-year loan by the time we closed.
I had to send so many emails to get final estimate on the day of closing as I didn't have the final numbers.
Throughout the process, it seemed as though Jordan felt he was doing us a favor, rather than treating us as important clients.
