I needed a loan for more than my DTI would allow based on my personal income. Since I am co-owner of a company, I was able to use my company's assets/income as consideration for my loan amount. Dan Stenham and his team were able to get my loan approved for the amount I needed when many other lenders simply plugged in the numbers and denied my loan without any consideration for the assets of my company. Most importantly were the expenses paid by my company that added to my personal debt for other lenders, but FBC worked hard to show they were company debts based on the company making the payments. This is my third mortgage through FBC, and undoubtedly the most problematic. Despite all of the problems, everything went as planned, largely due to the efforts of Emily Gosche and the rest of the FBC team. We couldn't be happier with FBC and will continue to use them for future transactions.

I had done pre-qualifications with other lenders before only to result in them saying "yes you qualify; however because you have student debt..." and then they would go on about a string of extra loops I'd have to jump through to get the loan. This lender was not like that. They took everything into account including my student debt and good credit history and made it work without the extra hoops. They took time to explain everything; my contact Sam was amazing in answering every question I could possibly have and calmed my nerves through the whole process and was on top of ALL of it from my realtor, to my HOA, to my home owners insurance... and now my husband and I have the house of our dreams!
