All in all it was a decent transaction. We were able to close on time. However, our concern is that our phone calls/emails weren't returned in a timely manner. For a huge purchase such as this, we really needed answers right away and didnt want to wait a week to get a call back.

Everyone at FBC Mortgage was great, very knowledgeable. Most of the team members answer their phone calls or returned messages within a few hours. It was a very pleasant experience to work with the team! Makes a big difference during the big ordeal of buying a house.

My husband and I are first time home buyers, our real estate agent did 90% of the work on letting us know what we needed to do, what deadlines we had, when we needed to reach out to our loan officer. Donna did not provide much assistance without me reaching out to her 3 to 4 days in a row, leaving voicemails and sending her emails. It would be helpful if (especially for first time home buyers) the loan officer would communicate each step of the way and let you know what your next step is. My processor on the other hand, Simone, was amazing and very helpful and always quick to respond.
