What a horrible experience. Feels like a broken system. Never again.
1. On the day of the closing, while at their office, they give you a new estimate to close which is $10k more then all of the preivous estimates provided (this is criminal and should be illegal)
2. Lies about closing costs being fully covered if you go with Dreamfinders preferred lender, which I went with and they shifted the costs back to you.
3. Lies about the appraisal check being returned to you, never received the money back (they also made me waive my rights)
4. Threats from Joseph Clouston about penalties and requests for last minute documentation (very unprofessional and do not have your best interests in mind. instead of explaining the discrepancy, he gives open ended threats).
5. Rushed the closing without the house development being fully completed.
6. Constantly loosing your documents and asking to resend.
7. They make mistakes on the documentation that they produce and shift the blame on you.
There is much more but these are the main points.
Alan tries but his management is wicked, very rude, and unprofessional. Between the lies and the threats never working with Joseph Clouston again.

Alan was a pleasure to work with. He was followed up on any emails or phone calls. that I had. He was very proactive when it was about any paperwork I needed to provide.

I was upset at first, but when my processor Doreen emailed me at 11:30pm of missing docs while she was battling Covid, I had to set my pride aside and realized that the team at Jet really put me first! So on behalf of my family….the word Thank you is not enough to say. A big LOVE to Jet & Dreamfinders for everything and we really truly love our home!

The processor Kimberly B. was the best!!! The loan officer on the other hand was the absolute WORST! Very inexperienced and annoying

Very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Always able to eliminate all my doubts and frustrations about the process no matter how frazzled I got. Sorry I was not able to meet him at closing.

Building to buy creates a longer loan process of waiting and submitting documents, Alan always made himself available to answer any questions and provide assistance when needed from day 1 to signing day at the title company.
